I’ve created a monster. As I type this (the soon to be) Mrs Fat Lad is out riding with Shiela. It’s the third week in a row. She wants to ride at weekends. She’s looking at online shops for parts and bike clothes. She talks about the feel of the ride. When I said she needs some lights soon for the darker nights she said “yours will be fine!”
In all fairness Sarah has always loved riding and gets out when she can but has never really had the time to devote to it because of her work. Now though, with another willing female rider she is making time to ride. It’s a really inspiring thing to see. She comes back with that child like enthusiasm after each ride talking of descents she blasted and hills to conquer.
Still, she’s not having my lights…….
On blog related topics I have a load of rides to write up when I get a spare moment or too and a gallery that needs the fancy css applying containing pics from recent rides.
I’ve not forgotten my loyal three readers….
